The title says it all. Welcome to Practical Motivations and once again thanks for the support you gave for Practical Way. But before anything else, I would like to acknowledge my very good friend’s precious help, Ruben Licera, Jr. of Pinoyworld.org, for making this transformation possible and quick with his extraordinary expertise. He was the very same person who made our wedding reception last year a magical event.

Well now, as an introduction to this whole new personal development and self-motivation site, I believe without a doubt that you are asking an apt question inside you such as “Why am I checking this site out?”

Only you can answer that question. However, the very fact that you are here tells you that your unconscious is telling you that something in you needs to be changed or improved. When you saw our ads or when someone told you about this site, they must have used the powerful key words personal development, self-motivation, positive living, change, enthusiasm, empowerment, leadership, self-esteem, confidence, etc. which then sent a signal to your unconscious mind, tugging you to give it a try after conscious deliberation. Your conscious mind asks you “Do you really need to follow this site?”, “Do you have the time?”, “Is it really important?”, most importantly “Will I really benefit from Practical Motivations?”

I really don’t know if you need this personal development site or not. Probably you’ve got enough motivation going on inside you so that whatever life throws at you like unemployment, failure in business, investment scams, relationship problems, etc. you know you can survive without help like these. Or probably you’ve got tons of motivational books at home by Dale Carnegie, John Maxwell, Norman Vincent Peale, Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill and others that you think is enough to see you through life’s storms. Not that these authors are not effective. I tell you and many successful people around the world can attest with firm conviction that these authors are effective, they know their stuff and they can help you change your life and the way you live it to make it more positive in a significant way. But of course you realize that it’s not about what you know; it’s all about what you do constantly with what you know. Probably you’re not a stickler for theory application by which I mean you probably are too cooped up with life that you can’t even think about what you’ve read so far. So, your unconscious tugged you, imploring you to join us today because you read that we can help you change or improve yourself now!

What is this site all about? Practical Motivations is all about empowering and helping people realize their true constructive and positive potentials with the use of practical motivational methods. This site and the methods that will be discussed herein in the succeeding posts are inspired by NLP methods and other tried and tested human relations and leadership techniques. These methods help people access their inner resourceful state so that they can positively change their beliefs of who they are right now, not tomorrow, not later, but right now. This site will also teach you how to effectively influence people, not to manipulate, but to create a win-win relationship with them and for you to win them over to your point of view by seeing things in their point of view first or know what motivates them.

Let’s start by asking ourselves some questions to see if we really need some improvement (which is the chief aim of Practical Motivations) To see if we really need any improvement, an awareness of how our life is going is essential. Ask yourself right now these questions:

    • How is my life going right now?
    • Is there an area in my life that needs to be changed or improved right now?
    • If you were to go back 15 years, what had you hoped to become 15 years from then?
    • Are you the person now you hoped you’d become?
    • What have you always wanted to be or what are you still dreaming of becoming, even now?
    • What are your top 3 goals that will make you more satisfied and happier?
    • Are the things that you are doing right now getting you to your goals?
    • How strong is your desire to attain your goals?
    • Do you still believe that you can become what you’ve always wanted to become?

These questions are aimed at uncovering the hidden person inside you that you’ve always wanted to become. These will help you uncover your character, your true self. The YOU when no one is looking.

Up next we will talk about character, the very essential virtue that all successful people possess and cannot do without.

    Stumble It!
